Cookie Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026.
This page describes cookies and similar storage the site actually uses. It should be reviewed with the privacy policy, and updated before any analytics or advertising tool is added. Have the legal pages reviewed by qualified counsel before you rely on them.
What this site uses
The only cookie set by this website in its current configuration is a first-party session cookie.
- Name: devsgrid_session
- Purpose: security. It keeps the token that protects the inquiry form from forged submissions.
- Set when: you open a page that includes the inquiry form, currently the homepage, the hire developers page, and the contact page.
- Duration: a session cookie. The browser removes it when you close the browser. Server-side session files may remain until the host clears them.
- Access: HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it. SameSite is Lax. The Secure flag is set when the page is served over HTTPS.
The site does not use local storage or session storage for marketing. It does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or social-media pixels in the default configuration.
Why there is no consent banner
The session cookie is strictly necessary to submit the form safely. The site does not ask you to accept optional cookies, because optional cookies are not in use. A banner that pretended to offer a choice would be misleading.
If analytics are added later
The project has a disabled place to add analytics. If a tool that sets cookies or reads identifiers is turned on, this policy and the privacy policy need to name that tool, and a consent step may be required before it runs. Until that happens, no such tool is loaded.
How to control cookies
You can block cookies in your browser. If you block the session cookie, the rest of the site still loads, but the inquiry form may ask you to refresh or may be unable to accept the submission. You can still email the address on the contact page.
